If you get sick, do you blame it on someone else? If so, who do you expect your child’s classmate to blame their own illness on? Perhaps they can point the finger at your sick kid. While there’s nothing that we can do to stop the spread of disease 100 percent, there are good habits that we can all follow to ensure that we spread our illnesses to as few as possible. Here are five ways that you can do your part:
1. Wash Your Hands
Experts tell us that we touch our faces two to four times each minute. That’s over 5,000 times per day! Think of all of the germy surfaces you touch and then consider just how often you’re transferring those germs to your mucus membranes. Get in the habit of washing your hands with soap and warm water. Spend at least 20 seconds lathering the fronts and backs of your hands before you rinse and dry.
2. Keep Your Distance
If you have classmates or coworkers that are sick, keep your distance. It’s just as easy to pick up an illness through the air as it is to get it through touch. If you are sharing any kind of space with a sick person, back away and put a few feet in between you. Never borrow anything from someone who is actively sick and tell your children the same thing and lets avoid sickness with someone else. Don’t use someone’s pencil, telephone, calculator or any other small item that they may have touched.
3. Stay Home
Just as you should avoid people who are sick, they should avoid you. To make this easier for everyone around you, stay home if you’re sick. If your children fall ill, keep them home from school until they are feeling better. When you stay home, you’re not only giving yourself time to rest and recoup,and right medication can help you get a handle on your illness and safe, but you’re preventing other people from being able to point to you as the reason for their newly gained illness.
4. Keep Your Germs
How do you sneeze and cough? Do you do one or both into your hands? If so, you aren’t practicing good hygiene. Instead of using your hands to catch your germs, use a tissue that you can toss in the garbage can. Even when you use a tissue, be sure to wash your hands afterwards or, at a minimum, use a hand sanitizer. If you aren’t near a box of tissues, sneeze or cough into the crook of your elbow; not many people touch you there.Is the best thing to do rather to prevent germs in your body.Just keep safe to prevent sickeness
5. Go to the Doctor
Many people avoid going to the doctor, not because they are scared, but because they don’t think that it’s necessary. If you get sick, and your illness persists, take a trip to your physician’s office. Getting a proper diagnosis and the right medication can help you get a handle on your illness.Proper solutions is drink more water and eat healthy foods,avoid in sickness people than going to see doctor is a best way to protect you from sickness.Or ask the local pharmacy. The pharmacist can recommend an over-the-counter medication that suits your symptoms.
