It’s important to drink plenty of water: It flushes out toxins, helps carry nutrients to your cells, and supports every system in your body. And it’s also regarded as important factor for losing weight.
Does water really help you lose weight? There are many case studies that reports it really can. But do we have supporting ideas for this claim?
Researchers from Nutrition Sciences at the Berlin School of Public Health, Charite University Hospital wanted to know fully the benefits of water to weight loss so they reviewed 11 related studies to find out.
Fortunately, they found out that people who drank two cups of water before eating a meal lost more weight–four pounds–than people who didn’t. They also found out that people who drank at least one liter per day–a little less than the recommended eight glasses–lost more weight than those who didn’t.
